FMCG

VBK provides comprehensive transport and logistics services for the organization and implementation of international transport of consumer goods (FMCG), including household chemicals, personal hygiene products and other products. The FMCG market has recently been negatively affected by the crisis. However, by 2017, trade turnover in this segment began to increase again. This is due to the almost daily demand for consumer goods, as well as their affordable price and wide range. The FMCG market is characterized by consistently high demand, high competition and constant expansion associated with the entry of new brands and types of products to the market.

Types of transported FMCG cargoes

  • household chemicals (including a wide range of products for fabric care, a line of disinfectants, etc.)
  • personal hygiene items (including products for taking care of women’s comfort and the comfort of people with disabilities)
  • wide range of Baby Care products.

Transportation of FMCG cargoes

Usually, consumer goods are “unpretentious” goods that do not require maintaining a certain temperature or humidity level. However, with prolonged contact with moisture or under the influence of excessively high or low temperatures, household chemicals, personal hygiene items and some other FMCG products may lose their consumer properties and become unusable. Reliable protection of the cargo from the negative impact of external factors is provided by close factory packaging and strong containers (boxes, crates).

The complexity of delivering consumer goods often lies in their variety. FMCG goods that are heterogeneous in their properties are transported simultaneously in one vehicle. This means, first of all, the need to use an adapted transport that is suitable for the delivery of various products from washing and cleaning products to goods for children.

In addition, the variety of consumer goods complicates the process of customs clearance of goods: to process FMCG goods, you must have not only invoices and financial documents, but also certificates. Certification and labeling, in turn, are mandatory requirements for the transportation of certain types of consumer products.

VBK specialists monitor changes in national and international legal regulations, technical and sanitary standards in the field of transportation, and are guided by their own experience and long-term practice in the transportation of consumer goods. Thanks to this our company provides safe and fast transportation based on the characteristics of each specific product.
